Happy Veteran's Day 2013!

I want to thanks all the Vets and all the people of the past that make it possible to have this great Country of ours!

We are truly so very blessed!

I am a vet....so is my husband, my mother, my father, my cousin, my uncles, and my step-son.

Our family says ...Thanks Vets!!!!

November....freebie design

Ahhh... November!

I need this month....I need the time before the Christmas craziness.

I bet you do too!

Stitch this "November" up on a dish towel for a friend. It would be a lovely birthday gift for someone who was born this month.

*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make finished goods (no mass producing) and gifts...they are still legally my designs.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there.

Come to the Pin me linky party and the Party Bunch!

Christmas stocking & Peppermint sticks

Wow....the holidays are fast approaching!

This weather is making me want to sit back and craft.

My Christmas stocking, peppermints sticks, and tags pattern is on sale for $2.99 ...

now until Nov 11th.

Sorry the sale in over

Make one stocking or many and pin a tag to it. Add some no-sew peppermint sticks to the easy to make stocking. The peppermint sticks also look great in a jar or as bowl fillers.

This pattern comes with 9 labels to make tags.

Tags make a great kids project, they can add the color!

Sayings included: Candy cane dreams, more cookies less fruitcake, Don't get your tinsel in a tangle, I've been naughty but Santa doesn't mind, Just say snow, There is never enough shopping days til Christmas, I love Gingerbread men, I will honor Christmas and keep it in my heart all year, Gimme the prezzies, and I was good!!!!

Stocking measures: 8 1/2".

What have you been crafting lately...I would love to hear about it!!

Coffee keeps me busy....

Isn't this a funny one....makes me laugh every time I look at it!

"Coffee keeps my busy until it's acceptable to drink wine!"

is brand new...all my new signs are on Etsy.

Yep...it snowed this morning...this is way to early. Last year we didn't even have a White Christmas!

So before Veteran's day is NOT cool! Look you can see I still have my jack o lantern in the window box!

Boy I would have loved this as a kid...I would have reported my siblings left and right.

"That's it! I'm calling Santa!"

I love all the fun sayings from the movie Elf...

"Son of a Nutcracker!"

This is sure to get a smile from people.

"I just like to smile, smiling is my favorite!"

Another from Elf.

I thought this would be lovely in Home decor where white and beige were dominant.

"Tis the season to be jolly"

This is a favorite saying of my husband...from the help.

"You are kind you are smart you are important!"

I love the inspiration of this one!

"find your sparkle!"

Let us Owl be Thankful

Hey ladies!

It is like winter around here....darned wind makes it sooo cold!

My newest pattern is ready....

Let us Owl be Thankful.

Available in my Etsy shop, on patternmart, and

my website as well (if you like printed patterns that are mailed to you)

This would make a great shelf tuck or a sweet pincushion.

This is a super fast quickie.

These were my Maple trees a few days ago.....then the wind came and stripped it!

Fall beauty only lasts a little while....that's why I just drink it in when it is here.

Stay Cozy!!!

My new 2014 Calendar!

Yay....I have made my first calendar....using my artwork! I'm so excited!

My 2014 wall calendar.....has all 12 months with my artwork.
I love cheerful brightness....and I love to paint in a happy go lucky way!
Each month has a painting to fit the theme of the month. You can hang them up using a simple office supply clip (hang on a nail)....so easy.
Each month is a regular sized piece of paper.

Here are the first six months.

Lots of pretty girls and cats.

Each month fits on a regular sized page. All you need is 12: 8.5 x 11 pages of white cardstock or photo paper in matte or gloss.
This is a digital offering.....u print as many as you want. Makes a great gift. (but you cannot sell the calendar)
