Happy Birthday Selina

Today is my baby's birthday!!!It is also her first day of high school!  Yikes! 

She was born the day Princess Diana was laid to rest. 

My mom had a terminal illness and was willing herself to stay alive to see my one and only.  Everyday I would hold my baby in front of my mom so she could see her and touch her.  My mom died 20 days later.  It is tough to have one precious being come into your life and then another leave. 

I am really proud of my daughter...she is sweet, honest, loving, artsy, smart, funny, and only a million other wonderful things.

Bird & flower design

Wow...Friday already?  I am not ready for Friday.  Everytime I turn around...it is Friday.  I love this bird and flower design from an old magazine I have.  I have lots of Magazines....I am a hoarder when it comes to cool magazines. I also love this old scissors ad.  Look at the daughters grown up face on a small body...he he. 

My poor husband has more kidney stones...he is home and trying to rest.  My daughter is feeling sick too.... so I am nurse today!
