Come to whipperberrys friday flair

Great Gatsby Monograms

I LOVED  the new version of...
THE GREAT GATSBY
Each scene is just wonderful, exciting, interesting, and I got myself a copy right away.
Look at Leo's smile....classic!

I also loved the monogram for Jay Gatsby....and all the art deco.
I recently found this stitching diagram amongst my massive hoard of papers....which greatly resembles the monograms.
You could stitch up your own and for your friends and family.

Have fun!!!!

Come to Whipperberry's friday flair and pin me linky party

Every ending....freebie design

There is a slight chill in the air....and I LOVE it.
I have been hot all summer long.
I thought this sunflower would be nice....it reminds me of our fair...which is happening right now.
Our fair is quite big and lasts from today ...until next weekend on Sunday.
I really love the smell of the agricultural building...all those home grown plants and veggies.
I do not love the animal buildings smell....there are endless buildings of farm animals.
I hope this design is inspiring!

*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make finished goods (no mass producing) and gifts...they are still legally my designs.

Froy ... my studio bodyguard

Here is Froy....right out side my studio door...wanting in to craft.
Really he wants in to explore, but I don't want the cats accidentally locked in.

Here he is saying....."Come on mommy!"
I say...."Your cute, but your not that cute!"  lol

1st day of school...sophomore

It's my one and only babies first day of school...she is a sophomore now!
Selina is in touch with her feminine side....she loves trying different looks.

I will soon hear her tales of school...
I'll need a wine cooler after dealing with my day....computer decided to not work right.  I had to restore the computer to last month....I fixed it, but It wasn't fun.
I also cut my finger during all of it and had blood all over my keyboard and clothes....yuck.  Plus other little things got in my way.....oh well.
Sometimes things just don't go smoothly.

Whoever you are, whatever your dream, you have to be strong in your head and strong in your heart. Be strong. There's no quitting in the person who wants it bad enough.

Coming home

It's time to come home from your Labor day festivities.
We trimmed back a lot of trees from by our driveway.....hard work!  We have a double lot...that grows like a jungle....every year we are chainsawing and cutting things back.
My daughter's school starts Wednesday, so she has one more day of freedom....and I'll get back to my regular schedule of designing....yay!

I have many Halloween patterns they will be coming out and of course....Christmas.
Plus I had to play alittle...and I will be selling some cool Witch hats soon.

Watcha doing this labor day weekend?

Hey....beautiful weather here in Eastern Washington.
Watcha doing this Labor day weekend?
So far we have been doing some tasks around the house....taking walks....making smores in our fire pit....going out to eat.

We used to go camping every labor day(the whole big family together)....but things have changed...most of the kids have grown up and moved away....kinda sad when things change.
My daughter will soon be Sweet sixteen (she is the youngest cousin) and I have been planning all that.
I thought you would enjoy this boy fishing.....getting a nibble.
It is from an old coloring book.
We always could catch fish on Labor day weekend....so relaxing....especially with a drink.

Have a great rest of the Weekend!!!
