Mouse invasion!!!

What a beautiful autumn day it is! 

 I have only one complaint....these silly white/blue gnats floating around...I feel like they are swarming and taking over my yard.

This fall mousey is so sweet.....polka dots....love them.

Nothing has frosted....yet.

This crazy guy is made of green and white stripes with brown stars...vintage fabric.

These pretty mice pin cushions will keep all your pins and needles close by. The mice are fast and easy...make some for yourself, friends, and as gifts. They take a very small amount of fabric...great to use up scraps from your stash! Mouse measures: 2 1/8" x 3 1/2" not including tail. these are addicting to make, so much fun!!! Make them in prim colors with button eyes for a change.

Just a little announcement...

I have a vendor booth at the Washington State Quilt show October 19, 20, & 21, here in Spokane. 

I have been there many years, but this year my booth spot has changed....I am still in the same room, just the opposite side.  I will have all my new patterns as well as some old favorites.  I will also have a small amount of finished products....when they go, they go.

What a simple, yet hard thing to do! 

What are you wanting to do with your life?

Are you going for your dreams or are times too hard to go for your goals?

Make some small steps....and work with what you have.  At least we will being going somewhere.

This is a fun and easy project using muslin and wool....so lovely!

Design measures: 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".

This pillow is great to set out all fall long!!!!

Spooky Spokane Greetings

Here I am in Spooky Spokane, my hometown!

This is a tag I made a few years back.  I wanted to share some pictures of my Halloween decor this year.  I hope you get inspired to be spooky!

Here is a fab witch with a vintage noisemaker and other assorted decorations...I have way too much!

I love my old candles and vintage Halloween stunt game....part of it is still unused.

I've had this witch for ever...she is so cool and hope whoever made this knows how much I love it.

I made this Linus stitchery....using a coloring book for the stitching lines....I know I am naughty.  I then painted it with acrylic paints.

 

Here is a quilt I made with a vintage black cat die cut.

This is my piano top....full of scary guys!

I love the skulls.  It reminds me of one of my favorite cheesy old movies..."The Skull" with Peter Cushing.....good times!

This display is right by where I sit in the living room....I love to look at it.  Fun, Fun, Fun!

I made this goofy pumpkin man and needlefelted witch...I can't part with them.

This is what we had when growing up as decorations....a big skeleton.....he was on our front door.

This is Trix (Trick or treat).....she is wondering what I am doing.....she never likes posing for the camera, so this shot was lucky.

Kitchen  wall .....I always have my cherry wallhanging up!  I made the lunch pail from an old pail....just adding ephemera.  On the cat is a Halloween candy cane...he he he. 

I hope you liked seeing some of my collection.  Gotta greet my daughter.....she just came home from school!

I am all decorated at my house...it nearly killed me, but I survived!  Even the outside looks spooky, but not gory.  It was 75 today.....not quite fall weather, but I know it will come.
